JUNE 1 what a great day! dont you think so?! haha {private joke}

woke up early and went to pick up Lari for our shopping day! headed to makati and on our way there, we were stopped because we were supposedly on the yellow lane. just to show you how corrupt our officials are (or at least the mmda people), we had to pay P500 just to shut the policeman up and continue on our way! grrrr

went to landmark first and then we met up with bianx and camille in g4. had lunch at cibo and then mike came. we parted ways after lunch, mike and bianx went to watch a movie and the three of us went around and shopped some more. met up with rizpoo and oriented 2 participants and then me and lars shopped some more.

it was kinda fun spending days money but i still get chills (excited and nervous ones) when i think of how close the weekend is getting! looking forward though to the recharge this saturday

one week to go!!! aaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!

im scared, excited, nervous, anxious, looking forward to and dreading the weekend all at the same time. yes, this is coming from the same person who was torturing her sister about plagues and possible typhoons and earthquakes, the rectora of true light 2, days before her weekend.

anyway, kuwento about the past two days...

yesterday
watched the dance concert of Orange Dance Studio. galing, galing! super! i've personally never heard of them (even with all my dance experience) but they totally blew me away with their talent!

couldnt go out na after with martin's barkada coz me and gianna had to go to ust days in xavier. congrats gianns! im so proud of you! it was really great helping out and seeing how they function and stuff, and they're so funny! their jokes were so... basta, they were really fun!

today
had the ctk dwtl 08 recharge from 1 to 6 pm. thank you so much to everyone who came!! thank you for listening to us, thank you to those who helped out with certain things, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! it was great seeing you guys, so excited to see you all next week

just got home from Lari's house where me, Lari, Ina and Gianna worked on Days stuff, particularly the shifts.

Guess what?! IM SICK.

yup, just two days before ctk08 and the rectora is sick.

its okay though, not even SARS can stop me from going to the weekend and having a great batch... not after having worked my ass off with lari and kritzia, not after having stressed and worried over every single detail, not after having called up hundreds of eligible people to be participants... THIS BATCH IS GONNA BE GREAT!

first, to Kuya Jess, thanks for making everything fall into place so perfectly. everything is worth it because of You.

16 hours and counting...

yup, decided to update. im actually "on break" (haha, i've had two breaks so far tonight)

after this, im back to work.

im not sleepy though so its okay, kayang kaya pa ito!

today was.... long. REALLY long. highlight of my day: i was actually singled out by the dance head! she remembers me! haha "i better see you at the auditions ha!" totally made my day...

thank you for all those who have been texting me and wishing me luck! special mention to timmy who texted me to get some sleep and kritzia who got mad at me over the phone pa!

i just realized i havent updated my journal in a while! i've been busy with school kasi eh... and when i update about ctk08, i want it to be really detailed and long hehe

last saturday was so much fun!!! woke up early and went to 7am mass with my mom. what a great and perfect way to start the day right? went home and changed and gianna passed for me and we headed to pollock for Hyssop DWTL 13.

saturday morning isnt really a busy time (days-wise) so we just spent time in the staff room with chenelle, timmy, mell, hanna and KATHRINE!!! my daughter

we went to Kamirori (sp?!) for lunch but Kathrine didnt come na with us Gianns had to go too coz she had a piano recital practice. had so much fun with the truelight dazers!!! they're so much fun to be with

we had to go back to ateneo for mikko's faith basketball camp at 1 and we rode a trike!!!! haha, adventure!!! thanks hanna it was great sharing that experience with you. and tims! she rode with us coz she wanted to make sure we wouldnt get lost or something.

we got to the blue eagle gym and im so proud of mikko!! the basketball camp was a huge success larry fonacier and bj manalo! aaahhhh! i even made kalabit larry coz he wasnt looking at the camera for the pic hehe they're both so nice

had to leave na for the ctk batch8 evaluation so me and kring hitched with ben. in the car i was EXTREMELY fidgety, i couldnt wait to see my babies! then lars texted pa, "your babies are here!" so i got even more excited to see them

i was really happy that 10 of them came... and i really missed rose and kathrine good nalang i saw kathrine in the morning. eval was pretty okay, also got to talk to migs and lars about batch9. we all went to mass after and we even visited Jess in the adoration chapel!

went to Eastwood for dinner, thanks eric for suggesting something fishy! it was really yummy. thanks also for the discount and the drinks! yummy deep blue sea

alot of unexpected and sad things happened na after that, things that really just made me think of my BIL... basta, its hard to explain. but there. walking in the rain with lars really just made me think...

went to sidebar with martin & miko after to meet up with tessa. LONG story... but there. got home at around 3...

WHAT I REALIZED:

IM IN LOVE.

and its making me feel like i can float, like i can dance on air, like i can sing (!), like i can get through the week...

im in love. and im falling even more

each second, thats all i think about. and its this heady feeling that leaves me with a smile on my face.

and when you start to thank Him for giving you this feeling, i think thats definitely the sign that what you're feeling is right.

im in love with my family. with my mom (who i love more than anyone else in the world) who was really worried when i got home late last weekend but when i got home was excited to hear kuwento. with my siblings who make me laugh all the time and who sometimes annoy me with their clingyness and persistence to hang out in my room.

im in love with my dazer friends. hanna's right, the perfect world would be a world full of dazers.. timmy, mell, chenelle, hanna, gianna, welo, and everyone else who was at hyssop 13, the fact that you guys just went there to serve, hardly knowing anyone from there... galing, galing.

im in love with everyone who helped out at the faith basketball camp. seeing the smiles on the kids' faces was priceless.. seeing chad, louie, bryan, ricky and the rest of the "teachers", wow, galing talaga. seeing timmy, mell, ynez, rianna, carissa, haydee, gisa, gab, pao, kritzia, chenelle, hanna, mina, amor and everyone else teaching the kids how to pray brought a smile to my face and (okay, this is corny...) this fuzzy feeling to my heart

im in love with everyone who was at the dinner in eastwood. no explanations necessary

im in love with my batch 8 kids. anton, ryan, eric, martin, jowee, kyla, kathrine, pair, kim, mariel, carla and rose... grabe, i never thought i'd be like this with my kids. NEVER. just seeing them makes me happy and that time when we were stuck in something fishy coz of the rain and i was separated from them? i was worried sick.. i felt bad coz i wasnt with them! hay... my babies talaga, they're all so cute pa!

above all, im in love with HIM. grabe, he's so galing. i love him sooooo much. really, i never thought i'd still be THIS high from the weekend. and it's all coz of Him. kung wala siya, walang batch 8, walang ctk days, walang days with the lord at all.

but i'll make kuwento first...

the funniest things have been happening to me. and i think i know who to thank..

yesterday, my classmate in Filipino just tapped me on the shoulder and asked, "Were you at Sidebar last Saturday?" okay....! i dont even know her, she doesnt even look familiar to me at all but hey, at least now i know her right? good nalang i wasnt doing anything weird or funny in sidebar when she saw me

fr edwin said mass today! it was really galing coz i was walking to the bathroom after and i bumped into him and i got to kiss him pa on the cheek. we talked for a while then we had to go our separate ways. AND THEN! i was waiting for someone and i bumped into him again!! we talked more and he's really soooo cute... Jess personified talaga

okay, here is the long-awaited ctk08 entry. sorry but its SUPER long....

ctk08 was on my mind since i first heard that i was going to be vice-rectora. i was so excited for it that right after ctk07 i got to work na planning everything. every detail and activity, every add-on and kaartehan, i really wanted the batch to be special and perfect. i wanted everything to be magical...

early on though i realized na just how hard and tedious it would be. i also knew that to a certain extent i'd be doing the majority of the work. i didnt care though and looking back i wouldve done ten times the work pa if it would mean having a batch as great as ctk08

i dreamed of batch 8 to be really good. i dreamed of liking my kids. above all, i dreamed of leaving the weekend feeling REALLY fulfilled.

boy was i wrong...

coz at the end of the weekend, i got all that. and so much more..

batch 8 was more than good; it was great, galing, wonderful, beautiful... in one word: perfect. i didnt just like my kids, i fell in love with them, all 12 of them. and it was so weird coz i left the weekend with this incredible high. it was almost like i went through my days weekend all over again (which is kinda true)

i'd love to make kuwento every single detail but obviously thats bawal. i can say this though: every minute was beautiful and it made me see him in everyone and everything

it was so memorable, thinking about every minute of that weekend makes me smile...

i love my family, my 2 angels, my friends and most of all, JESS sooooo much!!!!

last Saturday was really the best. brought my 2 angels, gianna and bianx to the make-a-wish general assembly and they are now official volunteers!!! our wishkid's name is Yancy and he's sick with hemophilia and we'll be granting his wish (to go to Star City and to have a computer) asap! right my angels?

after the g.a. at coco cabana, gianns dropped me home and we got ready for gisa's surprise party! camille was kinda pissed nga with me coz martin called and i didnt want to get off the phone and welo was already in the clubhouse getting ready

gisa's party was fun! i hope she was surprised talaga... and i hope my acting was convincing ("Gisa, are we still tuloy?" haha ) i have a new favorite drink! chocolate mudshake... yum!

thanks guys! saturday night was really so much fun.... gianns, as usual we get tipsy together ; theresa thanks for dancing with me, im pretty sure everyone was impressed with our "model dance"; hanna, i love you hun!! ; welo the ultimate surprise party planner, congrats the party was galing; haydee, i love you... ; ben, macky, gab, miguel, yes, your dancing made the party a hit ; and gisa: i love you so much!!

but bianx is only gonna be gone for one week... and we didnt really lose her, she's just not physically here..
