all week long, i've gotten the exact same reaction from everyone.

'why didnt you get dark?!'
'how many layers of sunblock did you apply?'
'tums, sigurado ka bang nag-bora ka?'

and here i thought my slightly red shoulders, kita naman na may bikini tan lines, were enough to prove that yes, i did come from the beach.

and contrary to popular belief, no i did not hide out in the shade while they all baked in the sun. in fact, the two people who were doing exactly that were carlo and cholo who, i might add, each got a shade darker.

i hate my genes. if we werent so damn white i would have gotten the tan i've always dreamed of.

haha, how babaw but it sucks that i'll forever look like i never see the sun. and to think that as a kid, my mom would send me to the garden every morning to sunbathe. every day yun, no fail. for around two hours every morning, little tums would stand in the garden and wait for her skin color to change.

no such luck obviously. wehhhhh.....

cholo's classes start tomorrow. poor baby.. haha so because im such a great girl friend *wink*, gusto ko naman makiramay and we decided to spend his last day of summer together and just be together the whole day .... which turned out really great

he picked me up at around 10:30 and we went to his lola's house to have lunch with his family. family meaning immediate family + grandparents + aunts and uncles + in-laws + cousins + nieces and nephews..... which equals a very nervous and tense tums haha

it was really fun though we (actually me lang..) were on the 'hot seat' and had to endure jokes, interrogations and the like from the titas and girl cousins. it was okay with me though, they were all really welcoming and nice and warm and fun! haha, and really noisy and hyper but that was the best thing about their family

after all the magic sing-ing, jokes, hiritans, crazy dancing from the titas (and kessa haha), slight camwhoring, yummy yummy food, we had to go na 

we went to promenade after and just enjoyed cholo's last day of freedom then heard mass and had dinner with my family after at pho hoa

what a great way to end a great summer and i spent it with the greatest person and my greatest blessing ever mush mush mush! haha

Name ten of life's simple pleasures that you enjoy the most..

10. going to the parlor -- i've noticed that whenever im feeling stressed or pissed at someone/something, going to the parlor always helps. maybe its the feeling of being pampered and fussed over its also a plus when i go with my mom coz aside from mother-daughter bonding, it also means that i dont have to pay hahahaha

9. camwhoring -- taking pictures (especially of myself haha) always, always puts me in a good mood. wonder why

8. sweets especially chocolate -- i think i have the biggest sweet tooth known to man. i dont really eat much but when it comes to anything made up of sugar, aaaahhhhh. wala na, i totally pig out

7. SHOPPING -- is there any girl who doesnt enjoy shopping? im proud to say that i've turned shopping into a lifestyle rather than a hobby haha. i can haggle like a pro and walk long distances, all in the name of finding the perfect pair of shoes or a new bikini. whats funny is, if i have to walk anywhere other than the mall, i complain agad. talk about being selective

6. visiting Jess -- whether its just to pass by the AC or the CTK adoration chapel, or to visit Him during a days weekend anywhere, its just so great to sit and talk to Him, especially when Im super overflowing with kuwento. its also extra special when cholo's with me.

5. dancing -- dancing will always be my number one passion in life. my calling will always be to dance and the wooden floor, adrenaline rush, sweat, and beat of the music will always be something thats natural to me, something that feels exactly like home.

4. my DWTL kids -- plus the truelight 5 carebears im so lucky with my twelve ctk dwtl 08 kids (ryan.anton.pair.kim.jowee.mariel.rose.eric.kath.kyla.carla.martin) and my nine acoll23 kids (maj.maricar.bea.mae.camille.trin.iris.barbie.jen).

3. my friends! barkada, bilog, days friends, etc -- friends are life's greatest treasures im so lucky to have all these people in my life

2. my family (and cholo's family narin) -- how lucky are we to be surrounded by all these awesome and great individuals? galing talaga all the love in the world and all the happiness i've felt from these two great groups of people assure me more that Jess really does send miracles in the form of people.

1. tandananan! of course, who else? my baby! -- wow wow wow. how can i describe such a great, amazing, fantabulous guy? hahaha i can, obviously, especially with my great gift of gab but then i'd still be here about a year from now, writing about how galing he is. bottom line is : i love him so, so, so much and he makes me so happy and there's nothing i could ever ask for pa because im so content right now. as corny as that sounds, its the truth

wednesdays are love and my schedule is the best, im not harassed at all.. as compared to last year's sched which drove me to tears because i was so tired all the time..

my first day back was fun everything is exactly as it was 2 months ago and that was something to be thankful for, im not exactly someone who likes change. in fact, i'd rather everything stay the same..

missed chia's surprise debut/despedida last night.. boo to the rain and lack of transpo...

cholo just went home another great wednesday yipee :D wednesdays really are love..

spent the whole morning just bumming and the whole afternoon still bumming .. but this time with my baby and lets not forget pigging out which is our number one past time haha. or make that number two, camwhoring being first of course so funny, we were trying so hard to imitate this picture of another couple, its sorta an 'eskimo kiss' type of picture.. weh, now i have around 50 pictures of us trying to do exactly that

our crazy schedules this sem still worries me because we're so used to seeing each other at least every other day, if not every day..

thanks to Jess talaga coz we're so stable. after almost 2 years, there's nothing that we havent stayed together through

July 20's soooo lapit na!

yesterday was so much fun

went to school for only one class.. which lasted for about 40minutes lang. thats the one thing that sometimes irritates me about college, sometimes your day is entirely wasted because you go to school and your prof lets you go early.

yesterday wasnt a total waste though, i finally got to see and spend time with my blockmates, with the exception of gk who went out to lunch with her bibi, paano ba naman, monthsary nila yihee... haha

had lunch after with my family, north park is soo yummy. i swear, i will never get tired of chinese food ever.. its comfort food talaga

slept when we got home in preparation for the party. it was raining pa and thats one thing i love, sleeping and hearing the rain outside my window ... sarap

went to the clubhouse at 6:20 to 'set-up'.. technically, it wasnt even me who set-up, the helper was with me and camille followed to fix the tables and chairs. i was just there for moral support basically.

the party was fun more drinks this time and logically, more drunk/tipsy people.. had fun with all the food, camwhoring and funny moments

its the weekend! i love that i have absolutely nothing to do except laze around, bum, upload pictures :D

tomorrow marks my real honest-to-goodness first day as a college junior.

after a GREAT summer, im just so happy to be starting a new school year. with new school supplies, hehe i love having new notebooks and pens and clear file folders. how babaw is that?

tomorrow's my real first day because last week didnt count at all. it was all mostly orientation-ish; subject requirements were given out, class cards were collected and we basically just went over basic rules, etc.

tomorrow, seryosohan na. no more cutting, chatting, camwhoring (all the bawal c's haha)..

im so excited to study. haha, how nerdy is that? i dont know, it just dawned on me that in two years time, i'll be working. earning money. flung out into the real world.

its cholo's pinning ceremony this tuesday. yup, my baby's now, technically, a nurse! not officially though, he hasnt taken the boards yet. but he's gonna be going to different hospitals to work a certain number of hours na. galing, galing, im so so proud

too tired to update in full-length the things that have been happening to me these past two days, but here's a little something..

today is June 20. 2 important things about today would be : its mine and cholo's 23rd monthsary and its also my dad's 15th death anniversary.

how can one day be so happy and so poignant at the same time?

it was cholo's pinning ceremony today. too tired to make kuwento all about it but there were two highlights of the 4 hour affair (that are connected to the two important things about today):

i was abit sad coz cholo and i didnt get to spend time together, just the two of us, on our last monthsary before we celebrate our 2nd year. no one's to blame though because we both had class in the morning and the afternoon-night was spent in his ceremony. even in the actual ceremony, we didnt get to sit together coz he sat with the other students infront and i sat in the back with the parents and families. during the ceremony, out of nowhere, he looks back. and he just smiles at me and that one smile said it all. that one smile made my whole day, maybe even my whole week.

second highlight of my day was when the ceremony was about to end. i was seated with cholo's dad and cholo was talking to us, telling us to wait awhile because they were going to have their class picture taken. then, he bends down and kisses his dad on the cheek. for someone who hasnt kissed her own dad in 15 years, that gesture just made me appreciate how cholo's dad took the time out to see and be with his son on such an important day. and it made me so grateful for the fact that cholo's parents are so nice to me and treat me like one of their own.

i love you baby, congratulations

i love, love, LOVE wednesdays (see previous entries for the reason why)

here's what my week's been like so far :

MONDAY

spent my four hour break with gk and roxanne, had lunch in glorietta at 11 and being the batugans that we are, refused to walk around till 2 while we waited for our next class. we decided to watch a movie and did anyone listen to tums' choice (lakehouse)?? nooooo..... we watched omen instead..

it wasnt that scary but it was really nakakagulat. and i was clutching to xahn for dear life haha and gk and i were screaming in chorus with our screams echoing in the cinema.. i think there were only around 7 of us watching in the greenbelt cinema which made it even creepier..

sinong na-late ng 15minutes dahil lang sa omen? *raises hand* haha, thank Jess talaga that ms. orense is super nice and loves us

TUESDAY

yesterday we celebrated our 1 year and 11th month! yippee, congrats to us  we also commemorated my dad's 15th death anniv..

my classes in the morning were b-o-r-i-n-g... i was practically falling asleep in my seat. the funny part of my morning though was when we had an earthquake drill (yes, parang high school) and our professor actually made us do the drop, cover and hold (or whatever, i wasnt really paying attention). hello? college na kami, tapos yan mga pinapagawa niyo samin? haha the whole time we were crouched on the floor, i was texting so at least the time was put to good use.

our poems in Rizal were finally assigned! can you believe we actually have to memorize a whole poem by Rizal? and we have to present it in front of the class before midterms.. i was so scared i would be assigned a Spanish/Filipino poem but buti nalang, my poem's in English! yeay

rested a bit when i got home then got ready to go to cholo's capping/pinning ceremony. traffic in manila was the worst. ugh, and it was a hot day pa. we got there on time though and yeay, my baby looked so cute in his all-white uniform (with the white shoes i stepped on haha).

it was a loooooong ceremony, from 4pm till around 8:30 pm and some parts were abit boring so i amused myself with reading the names on the programme and laughing at some weird ones. i didnt have anyone to talk to pa coz cholo's dad gave up his seat for me and was staying somewhere at the back so i was beside totally random people.

im so proud of my pocholo! now they start actual duty hours at the hospital. which means less time together but im not complaining, really.

cant wait for what the rest of the week will bring! i love it that im not stressed about school at all haha..

aside from blog-hopping, friendster profile-stalking, fixing my pictures, our multiply sites and everything else computer and internet-related, i did get other things done during my 3-day weekend.

friday was spent mostly in bed because of my fever but i got to spend time with my pocholo miguel in the afternoon the best way to get better? my baby + camwhoring + kuwento galore + ice cream + brothers burgers!!

saturday, i basically bummed the whole day and then spent the night at our family reunion/ lolo and tita's birthday party at makati shang. yummy, yummy, YUMMY buffet and camwhoring with my siblings, mommy and cousins (plus migs' girlfriend and CUTE son anton). camille, mikko and i also walked around the hotel and visited Circles. WOW. chocolate fountain and super duper dami food. i want. now na. haha

sunday, went to mass in the morning and froze my butt off for an hour (why does Santuario insist on turning their aircons on full-blast when its raining outside?). after mass, went home and lazed around the whooooole day, slept more pa thanks to my monthly cramps. (okay, too much information..)

hello, last week of june! July's practically here! im enjoying my last few days as a teen i cant wait to turn 20! and i cant wait to celebrate our second anniversary <3

we watched land before time for theo yesterday. it was so funny, the film was so grainy (halatang 80's) and the sound was whacked and it was just so... old.

last time i watched that film was with my dad. and considering he died 15 years ago.. mej matagal na yun. so i dont really remember the story.

correct me if im wrong, the plot is kinda like ice age, right? i prefer land before time though, its more heart-warming

watch me try to control my tears haha. and hear people sniffling around me.. aww, nothing gets to people more than children's movies that are tragic in the beginning and then have a happy ending.. (lion king, bambi, little mermaid, etc)

today's thursday and tomorrow's friday and then, the weekend's finally here! :D

and aside from the fact that i have a lot to do this weekend and so many places to be, im just so happy because its FINALLY JULY!!!

haha, excited much? :D

i love, love, LOVE the rainy weather. and im rediscovering my love for nicholas sparks' books as well. tums is seriously in denial and thinks that she has nothing to do for school (when in fact, she has ALOT to read up on) and is spending her *ahem* free *ahem* time re-reading certain books.

so far, i've read 'The Notebook', 'A Bend in the Road', 'Nights in Rodanthe' and 'The Rescue'.. all in three days there's something about reading a book again, especially if its been a long time since you've last read it. 'A walk to remember' which, at third year high school, I thought to be the most romantic love story and the sweetest, was just blah for me when I read it again. But, re-reading 'The Rescue'  was another story. Watch tums bawl while reading it haha... how sad. Cholo, being such a boy, absolutely could not understand why I was crying over a book.

If you guys havent read it, I strongly suggest you do! I just hope they dont do something dumb like make it into a movie, like they did with 'The Notebook', 'A walk to remember' and 'Message in a Bottle'. That was really dumb, considering they altered the story for the movie version.

one more day of school, then its the w.e.e.k.e.n.d! yipee :D

its 1 in the morning, my feet hurt, im dead tired and im waking up early tomorrow...

but its okay, im still happy because its finally JULY!!! yippee :D :D

and timmy if youre reading this, i know that you know that my birthday's in 19 days haha

i had a great, great day pe, badminton to be more specific, early in the morning which left me all sweaty (eeeewwww...) but it was totally ok i still smelled like a baby, yihee haha went to glorietta after with roxanne, paula and louise.. shakey's. and then, had a looooooooong period of experimental psych (not one of the more interesting days.. have we ever had one?) which we spent making chismis, laughing, eating, texting and everything else that we werent allowed to do haha

acollege dwtl participants orientation after class, issa allowed us to listen in on them.. wahahaha, maghanda na kayo! kidding.. (jokes are half meant) another round of chismis galore, cant wait for next week's weekend!

glorietta after where we waited for carlo to pick us up. yum yum yum, plato wraps are love <3 went to eastwood na after and had a really good dinner at jack's loft. then we went to fazoli's where everyone was and then headed to dencio's.

lotsa camwhoring as usual and it was just really great to be with everyone again what a really good way to end such a long week.. and we're going out pa tomorrow night!

tums is tired and will go to sleep now... hahaÜÜ
