so we've all barely recovered from the stress and fatigue from ydwtl27... and here we are gearing up for another days batch thats the problem when the weekends are sunod-sunod.. major pagod talaga and especially when we're deeply involved in all the pre-weekend prep. today for example, was solely devoted to being creative and productive (were we?) haha

had fun shooting for the truelight anniv mass video thank you, timmy, for being extremely patient (what with my ten thousand takes and bloopers). that was fun, gusto ko na maging tv star! go, tums heehee

tomorrow is another day and yes, the last FULL day of working for the batch. good luck to us. we need it, super.

i want a real break. as in, complete with a road trip (or beach trip) and lotsa quality time with my booboo. daym, school starts on monday na.. could my three week sembreak have gone by ANY FASTER?!

i want more time to bum. and sleep in. AND EAT.

so, in less than a day, another weeked will have begun.

im scared and excited and anxious ALL AT THE SAME TIME. and i still have stuff to do, but decided i needed a break

it was a productive afternoon, part two of our sfx-ing. and yes, out of 8 of us working (me, cholo, tims, raissa, karla, blossom, rianna and camille), isa lang talaga doon ang taga-committee. not to be bitter or anything, its just that it seems puro ibang tao nalang parati ang nagsasalo.

oh well. it was a good thing we had fun doing it glitter party! haha

the greatest way i could have ended my sembreak :)

wow. what a weekend. having had the whole of today to recover, i feel like nawala na lahat ng pagod ko. add to that the fact that my phone has been beeping nonstop since last night and people's messages of congratulations and thanks have just been so overwhelming and touching

friday

slept late thursday night and woke up really early friday morning, just to finish stuff that i decided to put off till the last possible minute. i was really running on adrenaline coz i wasnt even feeling sleepy or stressed or harassed. thanks, Jess

left at around 10 to meet cholo in shang where i also bumped into chax! haha, and niño who came to meet up with her too.. then cholo and i left to go to his house for his mom's birthday.

there was a time that i was actually really kinakabahan whenever i'd have to go to his house, and spend time with his family. now, its just really such an okay and normal thing to do. no more nerves for this girl friend! haha no really, parang now its just something i enjoy and not stress over because im dead-set on making a good impression on them, etc.

lunch was yummy and we watched shark tale too. that was fun then we went to megamall and had a mcdo merienda, where we also saw ace's new mcdonalds commercial! wow, she's really going places.. ace is one bilog girl i miss being with coz she's just so much fun and totally patawa..

had to leave at 3:30 coz we had set-up pa at Xavier. and time really flew by from there.

cant make kuwento much about the stuff that happens during the weekend, but lets just say that Friday was exhausting. i was so happy though that ang daming staffers na pumunta and they were all so productive and helpful. galing, talaga there were no decorations/useless creatures which was a relief.

saturday

watch tums and trixie wake up thirty minutes late.. and nag-alarm pa kami ha! haha the pagod really set in and we literally couldnt get up. it was a good thing nahabol yung schedule and we were always back on time and even early! yeay for Tums

the day brought out my *ahem* not-so-nice side but i seriously think i was more patawa than nakakasindak. in fact, i actually think they were more irritated and annoyed at me, than scared.

felt a bit bad when cholo left for abet's birthday party coz i really, really, super wanted to go.. *tear* and bilog was super complete daw so i missed a whole lot

i would have missed a lot if i left to go to the party din coz saturday night was amazing, as usual lets just say everything turned out okay and everyone went to sleep happy

sunday

last day and also, the day that flies by the fastest. i wore pink the whole day, just because being in pink makes me happy and i knew that sunday was gonna be a happy day.

which it was and the weekend ended just as soon as it came.

to everyone, everyone talaga who staffed, visited, contributed to, helped, donated, gave of their time, prayed for, and even just remembered to wish us luck -- THANK YOU! true light 6 wouldnt have been this much of a success without you guys basta kayo! Jess really made Himself more real to me this weekend through all the people i encountered and staffed with and especially in the 19 new dazers of the true light community.

so i have around two weeks worth of kuwento. thats what happens when technology fails you, your computer crashes, and youre unable to blog..

okay, so parang naman people are really that interested in my day-to-day kuwentos right? haha

being computer-less for over a week has made me realize that life is less interesting without the net. and that my memory card can only hold so much pictures. and that ... well, yun lang naman.

tuesdays and thursdays are the best, i swear ... and for that matter, monday nights and wednesday nights as well not having to worry about waking up and dragging myself out of bed to go to school is the best

16th today and it was another great day with my cholo loooooooove...

been watching dvds lately out of sheer boredom and so far i've seen: you, me and dupree, the break-up, and save the last dance 2 AND i've also re-watched the devil wears prada.

save the last dance 2 was surprisingly good. i mean, it was a bit dumb that they tried to pick up where the first movie left off, but still the dance sequences and the story was actually entertaining. and the lead character's name in real life is izabella miko. so hindi naman pinagsama names namin ni cholo noh? hehehe

in the next two weeks, there's still the last two dwtl weekends of the year. not full-timing though which is good, because i feel like my body's slowly dying from the stress of the weekly weekends (in other words, im literally becoming skin-and-bones). will probably only staff overnight for both, which is also a plus since i need to spend time naman at home.

i remember when chloe was still alive, we used to make kuwento about this one certain blockmate and how she was la-in batasan.. and even now that chloe's gone, that certain person is still the same way. parang walang nangyari.

yesterday was fuuuuuuuun class in the morning and then i had lunch with my cholo... and then we went home to his house and just bummed. watching tv, snacking and just making kuwento is always fun and criticizing his messy room is even funner haha boys will be boys talaga... you can never trust a boy to keep his room clean (unless, of course, he's gay)

then we had dinner with his cousin and tita.. picture tums really scared. haha his tita scares me, she's not mean or mataray or anything, but she just comes off as.... scary. but yeah, she's nice naman to me. and the whole meal, Kuya Nel kept teasing me and talking to me so i was super appreciative of that

after, we went to Martin's house for our supposedly best friends + girl friends inuman. only to find out that! wala pala si tessa. so kulang kami diba... but ray-an and michelle arrived a few hours later so yeah, that was fun. and who knew playing playstation soccer could be fun? yeeeeeaaaaaaaaah

good day, good company and i loved spending time with my baby yippee, every day really seems better than the last i love you pocholo!

so yesterday, us abello girls (mommy, camille, me) went to divisoria armed with cash (haha, right...), a helper to help us carry stuff, and an original plan of only staying from 9am to around 11am.

needless to say, being the shopaholics and gastadoras that we are, we ended up staying till 4 and buying christmas gifts slash things that will eventually end up in our own closets anyway.

there werent super a lot of things that i wanted to buy, though. its weird how the first few times you go to divi and 168, youre still in awe of the low prices and all the bargains. and how you see the exact same things that are being sold in tickles and glorietta, but at a lower price. now though, having already gone there A LOT of times, wala na masyado yung thrill. i did get to buy a pretty white bag for only P350, so yeah, i guess im happy din naman.. haha

on my second straight day of rest and relaxation and there's still tomorrow! i love, love, LOVE my second sem schedule thank You, Jess.

i was watching beauty and the geek earlier, and there's something entertaining about it. another couch potato moment worth sharing was my movie marathon last night which consisted of two movies: aquamarine and shopgirl.

aquamarine was a typical, teeny-boppery type of movie which, of course, had the most unrealistic ending EVER. the guy finds out at the end of the movie that Aqua's a mermaid.. and no, he doesnt freak out. he doesnt ask questions. he doesnt break up with her. IN FACT! he asks her out pa. hello, if I found out the person i was dating was anything other than human, malamang magtatanong ako diba?

guess thats why its a movie

it was a feel-good movie though, with such a simple plot that required absolutely no thinking or brain power all throughout, so that was good. after the long day i had, i needed mindless entertainment.

shopgirl was...... not for me. tried watching it again this morning, after giving up on it mid-way last night but no talaga eh. claire danes making out with steve martin? not entertaining. at least not to me.

christmas is really, really around the corner na. i looooooovvvveeee holiday food. and gifts. and the yummy, cold weather.

oh, and christmas movies.

we're taking up social dance for pe. yup, as in ballroom dancing. and the funny thing about it is, i honestly thought i'd breeze through the subject and end up with a flat 1.0 for finals. ummmm, mukhang malabo... i think i'll be lucky with a 1.2..

its not that the steps are hard (because its not).. its just that learning the guy steps and leading the dance (and april) is turning out to be not as easy as i thought it'd be.

oh well, its fun naman. as we go along, i've just been laughing and enjoying it. i mean c'mon, at least i get to dance right? that in itself is fun for me

and just as i was making kuwento to pocholo, everytime we have class i get transported back to the good old days of cotillion practices for diane's debut. and how my *ahem* partner used to hold my hand.. parang takot na takot haha

i logged on to friendster awhile ago, after a really long time of not checking mine and cholo's account... and i saw that chloe's boyfriend has still been updating her account.. and whats even sweeter is he still writes her testimonials and uploads pictures of her in the hospital and everything..

there was a time around a week ago when i, out of nowhere, bigla nalang thought of her and started missing her. i even remember telling cholo about it, and telling him of how sometimes i still feel guilty for not having checked up on her and asked about her condition enough.

there's just so much regret. but still, chloe was one person who was a blessing to everyone around her, and maybe that in itself is enough.

updating after four (five?) days is hard.... so many things to recall and i want to write about everything but sadly, im really bad when it comes to remembering things to blog about

friday class was boring and thanfully, i didnt have class anymore after lunch hooray for free cuts! so cholo and i had lunch and then went to his school for their sportsfest/intrams championships.

the game was scheduled for 3:30pm, and we were there at 3 palang. unfortunately, the schedule got screwed up and so we got to see pa the girls' basketball championships, the cheering competition, and a whole lot of other things, before the basketball championships started. so kamusta naman right, ang tagal ng wait namin... haha it wasnt boring though, we got to people-watch and make kuwento and i met ALL of cholo's classmates, school friends, and teachers, some of whom i've never met before and most of which i never heard of all. lets just put it this way, ang dami mong kilala baby, haha

they won! by around 4 points and the other team really gave them a run for their money. but good game talaga i wanted to jump up and cheer and all but kakahiya naman right?

after, we just had a quick dinner at cholo's and then went na to AC.

ac hs dwtl 28 was great didnt full-time which was unusual for me, but i really had so much school stuff to attend to that full-timing wasnt an option at all. still, being there friday and saturday was enough and just being able to show kim that i was there to support her made me happy

saturday night was super duper GRABE delayed which was super stressful for me still, things (and events) turned out okay naman so im happy and when we left AC at 2am, we still had the energy to go to Grilla! san ka pa, nag-inuman pa hahahaha

good weekend, over-all. im sad i didnt get to go Sunday but i really needed to rest and recharge for this week. so many school deadlines, etc that i dont even know where to start! but yeah, im glad i got to staff coz kahit papano, i was able to serve.
