can someone please explain to me why some straight (or so they say) girls love to take pictures of themselves kissing other girls? and why they feel the need to even post these pictures on multiply?

ugh.

i mean, i love my girl friends and all, but i never felt the urge to kiss them.. at least not on the lips!

after many, many years of always being the one favored by choreographers and dance teachers, i received my very first 'dance rejection' ever yesterday.

im not in front of the formation of our dance.. and its weird because i'm ALWAYS, always in front, no matter what. as i said, choreographers love me. its mayabang i know, but its true.

yeah yeah, its just pe class. and this is just some dinky inter-block dance competition anyway.. and besides, its not like its some hip-hop number, or a jazz one, or even ballet that i know im the best one at. its social dance. so i feel dumb for feeling bad, because i know that dancing the cha-cha and not being in front isnt the end of the world.

besides, with the dance we have and the steps and all, im glad im not right smack in front like i always am.

so let the rest have their glory. the dance is what, 3 minutes? sheesh. it'll be over soon enough anyway.

hay, i knew i shouldve stayed with the psych block. at least when i danced with them last year, we all looked good and the steps were sooooo much better.

last thursday, i had my very first photoshoot

ang arte noh? haha i even had a yaya with me, holding my clothes in that cloth carry case that models use. yes naman... i had my hair and make-up done, and i was even supposed to have four outfit changes.. but had to trim it down to three.

for someone like me who LOVES camwhoring, takes MILLIONS of pictures of herself (and with other people), and is just plain VAIN, this photoshoot was like a blessing i had so much fun being told how to pose and just mugging for the camera.

oh yeah, and i suck at pouting. mostly all my pictures are of me smiling haha i just cant do that whole 'stoic' look! its sooooo hard.

next shoot, i will be more maangas! i swear! and i will find ways to pose more... model-y. hehe..

thank you so much ms. apy! youre such a great photographer, the best talaga i loved working with you, and i cant wait for the next shoot!

at the end of the day, my jaw was sore from all that smiling and posing. who wouldve thought i'd still get tired from taking all those pictures?

i've been so bad at updating my journal lately. its just that, with the school year wrapping up and all, deadlines are becoming harder to meet. add to that the fact that i've been stressing about psych testing, and my thesis and coming up with a topic... ugh. MAJOR stress. hell week has officially been extended to hell month.

still, life is gooood. Jess is good. sure, there have been not-so-okay times these past few days but nothing i cant handle if there's anything i've learned these past few years in college, its to be strong.

so between the excitement of having the photoshoot done, and enjoying my first free day (which i havent had in a loooong time) today, a lot a few things have happened. i guess i've just learned to distinguish unimportant things from the important ones. so yeah, those other events have been classified as 'unimportant', just because theyre not worth sharing. haha.

so in the past few days i've: rehearsed for our social dance finals, learned how to apply make-up to myself for our competition (something i've never done before! achievement!), put up with my p.e. classmates, some of whom were very, VERY hard to tolerate, placed 1st runner up in the competition, read a new book, studied, and just had quality kuwento time with my favorite people

now, THAT'S loving life right there

being the youngest, i was used to never having to do that growing up. what's mine, is mine. and it'll stay mine till i decide i no longer want it.

i've learned though that with certain things, and yes, with certain people, you have to learn to let go. and share them with others.

school has been extremely tiring, and this past week has been all deadlines and yes, even hell-ish to a point.

same with cholo. he's had exams and quizzes so we've been studying together. last night was fun/funny i was all set for a night in, just watching tv when i got a text..

cholo: hi baby, what are you doing?
me: nothing baby, just finished taking a bath. why?
cholo: im outside your house now.

haha, it took a moment pa for me to realize that he wasnt joking or anything.. and we just studied downstairs the whole night till around past 11. correction, he studied and i read magazines. (yes i still read candy even if im not in high school anymore.. geez.) then, the embarassing thing is pa, i fell asleep! haha and i was supposed to be helping him review! sorry baby.. i hope i wasnt talking in my sleep, im the world's most amazing sleep-talker. not only do i talk, but if you talk to me, i'll answer you! galing noh... haha my mom nga always makes me loko, and she carries conversations with me. then she tells me all about it the next morning.. wow, im weird.

i've been shopping this past week and the great thing about it is, aside from it being MAJOR buys and not just little things, i've also been getting everything cost-free! at least on my part, that is. my mom has been on a serious shopping frenzy, and has decided for some reason to buy me stuff too hehe.. its literally been a major spending week, but who's complaining? im not :D

i've gotten new shoes, clothes, super pretty jeans, and yes... because summer is practically HERE, i have four new bikinis whoopee! im super excited to wear them! haha, cholo said nga i have to learn na talaga how to swim eh

i still want a:

-yellow polka dot bikini  (yes, im serious. camille says its dumb to buy one but i really want eh! )

speaking of summer, camille and i had sbarro lunch date last wednesday and the topic of summer came up. we're trying to fit bora into ALL 6 of our hectic summer schedules, so yeah. we're aiming for may again, just because we dont wanna go when its too crowded.

its so retarded how, because i only have till a certain episode of season 3 (ahem ahem timmy pawatch naman ng newer episodes mo ahem ahem), i keep re-watching the first and second seasons of grey's anatomy. and the funny thing about it is, some episodes i dont really watch all the way through, i just fast-forward to the meredith-mcdreamy kilig scenes. like i've watched the 'i cant remember our last kiss' scene about ten times already. and the 'pick me, choose me, love me' scene i've watched even more. haha if only we actually have channels that show us current seasons, and not etc and star world that are one or two seasons late.

pretentious people are the worst.

the one thing i hate reading, even more than journals of grammatically incorrect people, are journals of those who love to name-drop and brag. especially when you know they dont really know what theyre talking about, and just spout off to sound.. i dont know, rich? classy? whatever. first of all, if you do have the money you wouldnt be going around flaunting that you do have it. no one does that. no one with breeding, that is.

i dont think these people realize that they sound dumb and that others can see through their whole 'im "rich", envy me' facade.

fun weekend

lotsa quality time with cholo, plus blossom's debut. i love seeing people all dressed up and blossom was so pretty, and the place was so nice. and i love it when cholo and i are in formal, parang prom/ball revisited... except with a WAY better date haha

had a hard time figuring out what to wear beforehand, so i went out and bought a top for my gown.. a top exactly like tisha's haha. except i wore mine a different way nice, nice. it also pays to have formal dresses lying around at home, just so you know you'll always have something to wear if ever someone decides to invite you to a formal event

this week is the hell-est week of all. i'm finishing my 20-page final paper in personality, working on my thesis with hasna and studying for my only written finals in theology. plus, i still have a practical test in interviewing techniques. Jess, help me.

then, two weeks from now, its summer na! hello, sun! hello, vacation!

and then..

i go back to school on April 16. daym. i HATE summer classes. why oh why do subjects have to be offered only during the summer???

its been a busy day. LITERALLY. i woke up at 5am (yes thats right, 5) just to finish (erm, start?) my personality finals paper. hello, productivity. i realized just this year that my productive time is early, EARLY in the morning. go figure.

so technically, i dont pull all-nighters. i SLEEP at night, then wake up WAY EARLY to work. haha

Starbucks breakfast with cholo and then he had to go to the dentist with his tita so i just went around the mall huwow. tums wants to SHOP. hello, summer clothes. hello, bikinis. hello, yummy bags. waaaaaahhhhh... hello, credit card? hello, mommy!

and then when i was walking around the mall, i realized how much of a shopaholic i am. seriously. and sometimes, im such an impulsive buyer that buyer's remorse sets in as soon as i leave the store. yeah, that fast. must learn how to resist buying useless, impractical stuff. thats officially my resolution for 2007. (who makes resolutions in march?!)

lunch again with cholo who is the only living person i know who has a tooth extracted, and then still has the strength to eat meat and french fries. yes, he is not human.. my boy friend is a medical case. he is currently keeping his tooth, just for kicks. he even soaked it in hydrogen something something. see, i told you he's a medical case... psych case?!

had to go back to school for my interviewing techniques practical test, and my long quiz for personality. then, met up with cholo yet again for merienda! yes, we are pigs. yes, we eat everytime we're together. oh, and yes, cholo is gaining weight while i am still figuring out if someone is tampering with our weighing scale at home. because after how many months, i am still the same frigging weight. and i want to weigh more! please Jess! i want a butt! haha..

we just stayed at home after, and we even spent time playing with moemoe cute cute cat, still waking me up though by making noise outside my window.. ever heard of the saying 'cat on a roof'? yup, thats moe. literally.

would have wanted to just rest and bum tomorrow but thesis beckons.. reality sucks sometimes. growing older isnt all its cracked up to be.

karla and i were even talking about it a few days ago, and we realized that if we're this busy now, what more next year? and when we're already working?

all my finals are done. im DONE with third year, second sem! whooppeeeeeeeeeeee.

of course, there's still my psych testing report and interpretations to do. daym... so technically, im not on summer break YET. adkjashfksdgfas. and i am NOT looking forward to all that work.. yes, tums is slacking off and hasnt started yet haha

went to school for my theo finals today, and had to go to the psych lab as well to check out two psych test manuals for my don bosco client's interpretations. funny nga, i literally locked myself inside and just worked. and enjoyed the air-con, just because today was super hot. summer is REALLY here! wheeeeee..

speaking of summer, i dont have classes anymore! the subject i wanted to take is full na so i guess i just have to take it some other sem.. oh well.

good, good weekend so far

friday night was my official rest-and-stay-in-after-finals night, and i spent it eating and watching season 2 episodes of grey's anatomy. saturday morning, i was originally supposed to go to the ctk13 powwow but thanks to LAZINESS, i stayed home nalang in the afternoon though, my mom dragged me to galleria for (the magic words) the 3-day sale, and we braved the crowds and the long cashier lines, and i got a new top! yup, after two hours of going around, all i got was one measly tube top. its not even a beach-y tube top, its more of a dressy one. ho-well. the sucky part about the sale was that there was NOTHING remotely nice/interesting about the stores' stuff. maybe because nga, they were on sale. my mom was even hinting na for me to get this bikini from lae, but it wasnt even nice. waaaah, tumanggi ako sa bikini haha

at night we went to lari's house party and stayed there for a bit, saw mariel and her boy friend yihee then we went na to chakai's debut. fun, fun lots of camwhoring and it was great to see some of the truelight 5-ers again. chax, ang ganda mo. ree and i have a crush on you! haha cholo was very much into the band, audience participation was all HIM. and watching all those videos and avps for chax was just awwww i swear, when i have kids im gonna video tape EVERYTHING. i promise, every milestone in their life will be caught on tape (or film)

so much to do for this week. two words that equal hell? PSYCH REPORT. its funny, i just realized that im an AVOIDER. because, instead of keeping myself busy doing my interpretations and stuff, im looking at friendsters, and multiply sites. haha. PROCRASTINATION. waaaaaaah.

• i realized i only learned how to cross the street ON MY OWN in college. thanks to 'walking to glorietta' adventures, that is
• there's nothing like going around the mall to perk me up. i dont even have to buy anything, just going around, and window shopping, and trying things on is enough.. haha
• speaking of the mall, i was going around Glorietta today, and it wasnt as crowded as it usually is.
• cholo has been bugging me to watch 300. yes, we are the only two losers left who havent watched it.. the thing is, he's super kating-kati to watch it, when he's the one who has the worst school schedule! haha, so dont blame me if we havent watched it yet baby
• i was watching Oprah the other day, and Maria Shriver was the guest, along with her mom Eunice (who is also a Kennedy!) and it was so galing coz theyre both really strong women, and women who are so fulfilled and empowered and all that. they have like the longest list of achievements and they speak so well.. galing talaga. very, very inspiring.
• i love, love seeing the 'wait a minute' pcd + timbaland video. i can watch it over and over again and not get sick of it i especially love the part when theyre on top of the cab, and theyre dancing, and one of the girls does a full side extension.. wow. i wanna be a pussycat doll! haha
• 32nd month tomorrow! whoo hoo

yesterday for me started out at 3am. yup, i was up that early, just to finish my PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORT. and the really, really, REALLY irritating thing is that my don bosco client (the one whose psych tests im interpreting) absolutely has NO PERSONALITY. so hello, wala akong  masabi... ano ba...

but there. thanks Jess coz i finished it. and when i was printing it out, i felt this huge rush. haha, ang pathetic. but when youve been slowly inching your way through the subject (or crawling, same thing), completing your final requirement feels like THE BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT.

what a downer though, when i went to school to pass it.. there was no fanfare, no grand submission, nothing. the report i slaved over and worked on for months was... deposited into a box. box as in kahon. so, yun lang yun. haha. i dont know why im making such a big deal out of that one factor, but yeah. i just felt like a deflated balloon after submitting my psych report. bleh.

went home and sleeeeeept. hey, i was up at 3am! had to rest up before going to raissa's debut haha

raissa's rockstar themed debut was fun im tamad to write down everything that happened and all, but yeah good times, good times. thank you ree for my eye make-up, i shall go out and buy brown/black eyeliner ASAP (haha). had fun and not the tiring fun, just the relaxing type of fun where you're with people you like to be with and all. goooood times. haha.

it was funny though, i was thinking about it and the whole people-puking-at-parties brings back lots and lots of highschool memories for me. not bad ones though, i mean i was never the one dead drunk and puking. i was actually always the one cleaning up and making alalay the people who got drunk. who can forget vicky's 17th birthday party? good old days, promise

the night ended with cholo having one too many tequila shots.. so yeah, hello tipsy-ness. he wasnt drunk naman or anything but PtD days were here again .. poor baby. buti nalang i was with you noh? tsk tsk.

happy, happy day

for the first time in a very, very loooong time, cholo and i just spent the whole day together we've been super busy with school lately that we've only seen each other when he visits at home, or for parties, or other things like that. we dont really have one-on-one times and dates like we used to. so today was great just because we had each other to ourselves haha

after walking around the mall in the morning, we had the biggest, yummiest lunch at sbarro. saaaaarap. who doesnt love baked ziti? then we watched 300! yes, yes we are losers. after 2 weeks lang kami nakanood! hello naman kasi, school has been taking up most of our time eh!

galing ng movie thought it wasnt gonna live up to its hype but it turned out to be really great. and i dont usually like movies with fight scenes/ movies that make you think/ heavy movies. haha. i only usually like romantic comedies. but 300 was so good and i loved the blonde spartan! whoo hoo, crush crush!

last night was super fun just laughed, ate and drank the whole night with bilog, something i've missed since we havent really gone out with all of them in a while..

since pocholo had to go and stay with jb to bring him for his surprise party, it was a good thing i bumped into faith, tommy and jp and we went to kfc na ahead of the others. alessa was super panicking na and all, it was so cute coz she really super planned for it. lucky jb then, cholo picked me up na to meet up with jb, martin, rayan and cher so that we could just pretend that we were 'going around', instead of actually just stalling. haha

finally, after grocery shopping and atm withdrawing (and jb's other side trips), we finally got him to kfc where everyone hid that was kinda funny, seeing as how they were all crammed into the little room and it really looked like walang tao. galing, galing. now that was a surprise

fun, fun party. yummy food, ICE CREAM! and hilarious games i didnt get that one game we joined though, we had to put string through our clothes.. huh right? the whole time, i was telling the other girls, 'what exactly is the point of this game?!' haha still dont get it, up to now..

camwhored, and just laughed and laughed, and took pictures with superman, took pictures with jb, basically just took pictures with EVERYONE, and laughed some more, and played the party games and made kuwento. fun fun adult's children's parties are hilarious, especially when the mascots come out. and when the boys are all raring to go and beat up the mascot, its even more hilarious.

the kfc party ended pretty late, and we all went to ray-an's to drink after. for once, i wasnt high school and i could stay out late! wheeee thank Jess for small favors. got to make kuwento and bond with sab since we were the only girls there.. i love the velocity drink. saraaaaaaap. its a traydor (sp?) drink, feeling mo walang alcohol but meron pala! haha basta, its super yuuuuuuumy.

as usual, was feeling sleepy early palang.. mga 1 palang, sleepy na! baby talaga .. thankfully, randy's magic tricks (that were obvious na obvious na tricks lang talaga..) kept me awake

rode home in ray-an's jeep! didnt get my picture though boo... next time?

though im stuck at home trying to get over my stupid cold, im surprisingly not bored. haha.. guess i just have to stop and rest sometimes. thanks baby for the fun visit at home today i finally had to kick him out when i realized that at one point, i was sneezing more than talking to him..

so thats why, tonight im home alone. cholo's off with mikko, ree and chris so im keeping myself entertained with multiply. what did we use to do before multiply, i wonder?

speaking of multiply, i have a lot of albums left to upload. problem is, im tinatamad since im waiting for other people to upload too. might as well just wait for everyone so that i can steal and post altogether right? i was reminiscing nga kanina about the good old days when multiply had a photo limit of 300 (right? or was it 150?) and we had to choose lang what to upload. and that was when me and karl had the brilliant idea of making multiple accounts to accomodate our photo needs haha
