the past few days.. POSTED AT 12:03 PM its been a really busy week there was jb's surprise party, then the day after i just bummed and surfed the net and at night was dragged to jt's by cholo, chris, ree and mikko where we ate and drank. then on friday, we went to taft for the dlsu ngo fair where we manned the faith. booth. and i finally got to try sex! thats sinangag express ha, haha see, told ya it was a busy week today, im looking forward to just resting and uploading and bumming around. and it was so nice that my day got off to a really good start, i got an out of the blue 'i miss you' text from ekay holy week this week, and camille's 28th birthday tomorrow. tims! karla! what's the plan na? haha |

holy week. POSTED AT 10:41 AM growing up, holy week used to be about visita iglesia, stations of the cross, fish fillet (because that used to be the only non-meat thing i could eat) and yes, seventh heaven marathons. dont get me wrong, those things are still present. they've just changed. like for example, this year, visita iglesia was much more special because ree and cholo went with us. we had the usual 'is it 7, 9 or 11 churches?' argument, but we stuck to 9 churches in the end haha also this year, i learned to eat fish.. meaning i didnt starve but all the same, i still prefer meat. watch me pig-out today, just because pwede na kumain ng meat and what happened to seventh heaven? when did they ALL grow up? when did ruthie start having boylets, become a high school freshman and start going out? why is lucy married and PREGNANT? and why doesnt matt look like he grew up? he looks EXACTLY the same! and the baby twins.. arent babies anymore. whoa. its unnerving when tv families look different after a while.. ***** in celebration of holy week (and yes, because there was nothing to watch on tv yesterday), camille and i watched the da vinci code on video. i love that story, galing mo dan brown! whoohoo... and then when i was channel surfing, i saw the passion of the christ showing on star movies.. thats something i wouldnt wanna watch again. are there really those who've bought the passion on dvd? how people can stand seeing jess suffer over and over again ON VIDEO, is beyond me. its funny, i just remembered that i wrote about watching the passion here! and that was 3 years ago... http://www.tabulas.com/~tums/2004/04/ |

on pbb, new relationships and other things POSTED AT 02:20 PM bleh. i had this entry all written out and ready to post na this morning, AND THEN tabulas decided to rebel and the entry disappeared! completely! ano baaaaaa... buti pa livejournal, may auto-recovery! haha ****** as baduy as this may sound, i have been watching pinoy big brother practically since it started. call me jologs, call me bored, but at least i can say im updated right? haha, and besides, as a palusot i can always say that i watch religiously coz of gee anyway, also because i am baduy, i watch and get all kilig with the loveteams and their corny mushy keso pacute moments that predominantly take up most of the one-hour timeslot that the show is on. filipinos talaga, they really have to make romance the center of everything! i mean, i dont think the show was intended to be this dating thing it's become. and its so convenient that most of the people inside the house have their own respective partners and/or love interests. weird lang coz i heard that most of the girls (if not all) have boyfriends. or should i say, HAD boyfriends. with the way theyre acting inside the house, holding hands with the guys, and kissing and hugging them, im pretty sure they'll be boyfriend-less when they get out. still, i get all kilig watching wendy and bruce haha ****** so our lengthily-discussed, much-awaited boracay trip has fizzled out. booooooo i say we bora for sembreak! oh wait, that means ree has class pa. daymmmm... mukhang next year na nga ito. waaaaaaaaah ****** i was watching this new show about the upcoming elections and the senatorial candidates' campaigns and all, and did you guys know that for every campaign commercial/advertisement aired, thats already P180,000??? whoa. WHOA talaga. and you have candidates that have their commercials aired like 5 times a day! thats P900,000 a day! and we wonder why government officials and politicians are corrupt. malamang they have utangs to pay and all. THIS is why i chose not to register to vote. yes, i am an apathetic Filipino (that wears team manila, how contradictory). i can only hope for Pichay's sake that he wins. that guy has like 10 versions of his commercial airing around 6 times a day. and he literally came out from nowhere. poor guy, i bet he's up to his eyeballs in debt by now. ****** over the past couple of weeks, a few of mine and cholo's friends have broken up. hooked up. gotten back together. and started new relationships. to all of you, i say, go lang! its nice seeing people happy and in love. especially new couples, i think theyre the ones that really give you this hope that love lasts. i dont know if that even makes sense, but it does to me oh yeah. and to those who need to learn to move on, DO IT NOW. grow up! let go! dont tie other people down, its not healthy.. (im a psych student, i should know) ****** so the search for the next pussycat doll show on etc has proven to be a major letdown, just like how its been reviewed in the states. its not all THAT bad though, there are two or three girls that can dance REALLY WELL. i wanna be a pussycat doll! haha seriously though, if that show ever came to the philippines, its not like i can be part of it din naman. hello, hindi nga ako pinapayagan ni cholo mag bikini bottom lang sa beach eh... kailangan may boardshorts pa! what more those pekpek shorts that the girls wear, plus their super duper plunging, skintight tops? ****** tums is gaining weeeeeeiiiight. every summer, this happens. and then when june rolls around, im back to my skinny self. school is my 10-month diet heehee |

its hot, alrighty. POSTED AT 08:31 PM 33rd month today chubby cheeks cholo and i had a good afternoon. hello, mcdo pig-out session haha this time last year, i was stuck in a classroom for my summer classes. thank Jess this year's summer didnt push through coz then i'd be stuck going to and from makati in this heat. and believe me, even if youre in an air-conditioned car, its still unbearable. ****** all the news about the virginia tech massacre is just so crazy. the killer was this huge sicko, a real psych case. grabe, i dont know what i'd do if the same thing happened here in the philippines. thankfully, i dont think psychos run around ac. social climbers, yes. lots actually. crazed killers, not likely. haha ****** im craving for a parlor day. my nails are dying for a manicure/pedicure and i want to have my hair cut again. i've decided that im gonna keep my hair this length, just because i think it suits me. okay, im gonna stop before i start sounding like a shallow, self-obsessed person (that is, if i havent already).. ****** i've been missing my friends a lot.. theyre all so busy with ojt or summer classes (or both), so i havent really had time to just hang out with them. i miss the kuwentos especially, girl talk is something i cant really have with cholo right? |

POSTED AT 10:15 AM so batangas was cancelled because a certain atenean has other things to do. booooooooo hassle. really wanted to go pa naman. been looking forward to it for a week! more, even. daym. argh. no beach.. there's still baguio to look forward to this week though fun, fun night last night heard this weekend's a bora weekend, practically everyone's there. cool my new motto is: dont sweat the petty things. really. i refuse to be mababaw and give meaning to things. i know that what i know is whats true. did that make sense? yeah. besides, harmless stuff never hurt anyone. haha. |
