its only the third day of 2008, and already its turning out to be a goooooood year.

jan 1- spent the whole morning-lunch with my family plus cousins, nieces, nephew, titos, titas, etc at my tita mely's house. ate so much that im absolutely positive is a sign of how food-packed everyday of this year will be for me

jan 2- my last day of 'christmas break'. why the quotation marks? because my 'break' consisted of four days, thanks to my fifteen-day chicken pox house arrest. those four days though were spent with me out of the house early in the morning, and coming home late at night. now thats what you call, sulit na sulit haha.

so i digress. anyway, the 2nd of jan was spent with my faaaaaavorite people from two different groups. morning-night was spent in TAGAYTAY (400+ pictures to be uploaded soon) with kritzia, karla, migz, chris, timmy, christine and tonee, at kring's house where we dined on THE BEST steak (WHOA.), drank, camwhored to death, made kuwento, played Filipino Monopoly (Timmy owned Quezon Ave, I owned Taft Ave, Tonee owned the Cebu, Laoag and Manila airports and Kring owned almost everything else haha) and just basically (excuse the word, im not pacool like you-know-who) CHILLED. then at night we met up with gianns, tim, mike and bianx at serendra to have dinner. WHATTA DAY. now THAT was a great way to end my christmas season '07

jan 3- my first day back in school after... a month? no naman, 3 weeks lang siguro haha good day considering MY LOCKER GOT LOST (story to follow in another entry, its just so hilarious that it deserves its own separate link), i was frantically running around trying to get my clearance and other fees done, and i felt so out of sync with SCHOOL. got to make kuwento with hash and catch up PLUS my second home, Glorietta (that missed me, im sure), welcomed me for lunch. daaaaaaym.

its my 21st shot at making my year a great one, and thanks to all these people i've been fortunate enough to spend the past 3 days with, i think im starting off the year just the way i want it to. im not hoping this'll be a good year, im already CLAIMING it will be.

jan 4 - thought my day was off to a bad start when my alarm didnt go off and i overslept till 7:07. my friday first period starts at 8, which means i usually leave the house at 7:10. that left me with 3 MINUTES to get ready. hahahaha looking back, it was kind of hilarious. i probably set a personal record of getting ready in 20 minutes, i just literally took a shower, brushed my teeth and dressed up. thats it. no breakfast, no arte make-up whatever, i didnt even get to fix my bag. daaaaaaym.

then when i got to school, i was mildly stressing pa because we had a report due and hasna was late. thankfully though, she arrived just in time and our report went really well

fridays mean 5hour long breaks for me, and since pocholo is still on christmas break and doesnt go back to school till monday, we decided to go to rockwell. for the powerplant sale!! haha not for shopping really, mainly just to look around since we were kinda broke. those last few days of the christmas break were magastos, i tell you.

then at 3:30 i had to go back to school for my research class and wheeee, we were dismissed early right after the quiz, we were free to go. so cholo just waited for me and we had merienda before he dropped me home.

jan 5 - my saturday started off with me waking up at 8, getting ready and leaving the house at 8:30, and getting to school at 9 for my 9:10 class.

at 9:15, i was still waiting outside my EMPTY classroom, wondering why there was no one inside.

at 9:40, my professor finally replies and i realize that she announced to EVERYONE ELSE that she wouldnt be coming to class.

at 10, i decide to just go around glorietta while waiting for pocholo. which was fun, considering i havent been there in a long time and my favorite stores (and salespeople) have missed me.

it was such a relaxing day and im glad cholo and i were able to spend the whole day together, just doing nothing. okay, we were stuffing our faces as usual, but aside from that we were just relaxed and unstressed and everything. great way to end his break too

yesterday was my first day back in training, and i was so nervous! i kept telling beebop and kaye how scared i was and how they had to help me and teach me all the new steps and choreo..

haha JESS REALLY IS THE BEST. coz my first day back was greeeeeeeeat. aside from having all the steps down pat (after only a few minutes!), we were all already feeling the 'compet mood'. we were measured for our uniforms yesterday, the countdown is now set to ONLY TWO WEEKS TO GO, and our trainings for the next couple of days will keep us in ac till 9pm. shiiiiiit. but hey, im not complaining. good luck nalang sa thesis namin hahaha

and we have our formation already! at least for one dance. FORWARD ROLL STRESS ano baaaaaaa. thank you coach aris for taking it out of the choreo, you have no idea how painful my batok was na hahahaha

and then after the 3hours spent doing what i like most, i was brought home by the guy i LOVE most. haha corny!

im so excited to compete!!!! support, support please :D

yesterday was GOOOOOOOOD.

didnt have an exam but i dragged myself to school anyway, to have lunch with my truelight 7 babies! okay not all of them, just my ac girls haha and it was so much fun, im glad we all got to spend time together and just make kuwento. can you say dessert buffet??? haha :D i love my babies, thanks for a great lunchtime guys!

then today was another great day with my babyboo, spent shopping, eating and studying for my midterms in starbucks. you, i love. yes you, pocholo! *huuuuuuug*

last day of exams tomorrow, then its the WEEKEND. two debuts in one night, hmmmmmmmm.... costume change, anyone? HAHA

i think one of the best feelings in the world is when you use a bag for the first time. its like, you feel everyone's looking at you and wondering, 'where kaya did she buy that?' and your over-all self concept (not to mention self confidence) goes through the roof. plus you just feel ten times better having something so gorgeous on your arm.

just the other day, my mom was telling me that after graduation, i should take 6 months off just to rest, relax and take a break. and i go, "mom, i wanna work as soon as i graduate. just so i can buy all the designer bags i've been lusting after."

shit, skipped training today. partly due to the fact that my 3:30 class was cancelled, which meant that i practically had the whole day free and staying in makati till 5 would mean.. a waste of time and money.

praying my coach wont kill me tomorrow. that and i wont be placed in some obscure spot in the formation, where no one will be able to see me haha

NO TRAINING TODAY!!!!

can you tell how happy i am??? hahaha i love dancing and all, and its been really great, BUT I'VE BEEN SO TIRED LATELY. and i've been coming home at 10:30, 11 EVERY NIGHT. and i havent had time to do the things i usually do like bum, check my multiply, upload, etc. not to mention, i havent camwhored much these past few days as well!

okay, so i camwhored when we went out with my barkada. BUT STILL. i havent been able to JUST RELAX and surf the net mindlessly, like i always do. the last time i was even in front of the computer was.. like five days ago. haha.

training has been fun but hard. we're in competition mode, and theres only two weeks to go till wcsa. so far, i havent been injured YET but my knees are battle scar galore (bruise-full) already. also, the other day, i couldnt rotate my arms/shoulders. OUUUUUUUCH.

CAN I JUST SHARE HOW MUCH I LOVE BEROCCA????!!!! following bianca's advice, i started taking it coz i felt like i was really gonna get sick na... and it SUPER WORKED!!! now, i take it everyday. i can be an endorser!! i love it, its amazing!!!!

okay, im gonna enjoy my free friday now i looooove life. thank You, Jess.

i cant believe heath ledger is dead! okay, so he wasnt really one of my favorite actors or anything, and i watched like a total of ONE of his movies. BUT that movie was 10 things, and 10 things was like, THE ULTIMATE tums abello-popcorn lacia movie. along with clueless. SHIIIIIIIT, grade 6 and 7 memories!! pop and i would literally watch it over and over, and then recite the lines from memory. and then act it out. as in, re-enactment ha.

waaaaah.

the good ones always die young. just like elvis. marilyn monroe. james dean. and just recently, brad renfro who was like vicky's crush back in grade school.

she hasnt died or anything, but she sort of has. britney's self-destruction and paparazzi frenzy just really has me all disappointed. because i love her and i want the old britney back!! the im-a-slave-me-against-the-music-dance-moves britney that we used to pause and play videos of, just to get all her steps.

• TRAINING. our competition was moved two weeks later, which means more days (NIGHTS) spent working our asses off, dancing, lifting and stunting. dont get me wrong, IM SUPER ENJOYING, and my teammates are great but im also really, really tired. and stressed out. because i have ten million other acads-related things to do, plus my social life is suffering, and on top of that, i barely have time to just bum and relax. kelly is seriously nagtatampo because i have barely been using her. see thats a first, tums not camwhoring haha.
• MY THESIS. or correction, mine and hasna's thesis. ohmygodimsoreadytocollapseandDIEfromallthestress. our topic had to be revised and thankfully our adviser is like, the nicest. so we were there sounding off our ideas, just saying whatever came to mind, and she totally helped us. so now, we're already in the researching part, hence my 'i wanna die' phase. CANIJUSTPLEASEGRADUATENAAAAAAAAAAA
• POCHOLO PIG-OUT TIME. my ever trusty, after-school and training, sundo has been fattening me up with our almost everyday resto hopping food fests. all this, even if we're already planning our april bora trip! so, am i even gonna fit into a bikini in 3 months??? with my newly acquired love handles? hahaha. THANK YOU JESS FOR COACH ARIS WHO KILLS US IN TRAINING. future abs, see you VERY soon okay???
• BEING THANKFUL FOR MY FRIENDS. I may not get to see and be with them as much as i want to, thanks to school and everything else, but just knowing that theyre THERE makes life a whole lot sweeter. conversations with bianx, tessa, xtine, karla and hash (and everyone else i cant name at the moment) never fail to make me feel so blessed and so loved.
• GETTING EXCITED FOR TRUELIGHT8. WHY DO I FEEL LIKE THE LAST DAYS WEEKEND WAS AGES AGO??? maybe coz it probably was?? haha cant wait for the upcoming weekend, my babies' first time to staff in their own community! plus, i've just been missing the love that only the truelight-ers can give. not to mention D time i desperately, desperately need.
• SUMMER 2008 PLANS. not to jinx it or anything, but this summer's looking goooooood. pocholo's grad being the cherry on top of it all. now if only I was graduating too. haaaaay... i cant wait to finish my course and just get a move on!

here's to getting through the rest of the week. pray for me, my body feels like its gonna conk out any minute. plus, i have a bruise the size of a fist on my left inner thigh. i am a battered dancer huhuhu..

HUWATTAWEEKEND.

friday - makati med adventure with hash. 4 hours baaaaaaby hahaha :D it was really an adventure, believe me. plus hash and i SUPER bonded, just coz we waited for so long and were able to make kuwento about practically everything haha. then we had to go back to school for our research class, and after pocholo picked me up (no training!!!! yesssss) and we went trolling around shang. something we havent done recently then we had dinner at home and just spent quality time together.

saturday - i've missed days meetings/recharges and of course, weekends! so going to the truelight 8 recharge felt just like going back to something thats just so... familiar and yes, FINALLY, we got to enjoy cas' pizza treat haha. PAGING WINNA, youre next! just kidding hun

after lunch and the recharge, cholo and i went to watch Sweeney Todd. SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. haha so NOT what i expected. gory much? but the comic relief delivered by Helena Bonham Carter (bellatrix!!!) was the BEST. and the singing! loved it.

can i just share, everytime we watch a movie and the Batman trailer comes on, Pocholo literally freezes. he's so freaking in love with Batman, you have no idea. idol worship haha. but watching it now, post-Heath Ledger tragedy, makes me dread the opening of the movie. FREAKY JOKER SCENES, ano baaaaa. he play his part too well, exag! its almost nightmare inducing... and yes, knowing cholo, we'll be watching it on the opening day palang. ganon yun eh haha.

went around the mall after, and spent a considerable amount of time in toys r us. we love toy stores :D we also pigged out on milo ice cream and window shopped. it sucks being broke when EVERYTHING'S on sale huhuhu

went home in time for dinner, and left right after to spend the night with karla, the birthday girl!! okay, so it wasnt EXACTLY her birthday yet haha.. had fun making salubong your 22nd sis and ash is the CUTEST, promise.

sunday - FINALLY had the chance to just rest and stay home. thank You Jess for a great week. haha, i loved just being able to watch tv and lie down and relaaaaaax.

so, that was my weekend. it wasnt really that eventful, but i had fun just relaxing and being with my favorite people. AND because hell week is about to begin, this was just what i needed.

im a HUGE believer in the saying 'all things come to those who wait.'

im an even BIGGER believer in karma. that those who are absolutely AAAAARRGH should watch out coz they have it coming.

so you can imagine how hard im LAUGHING right now. uh-huh uh-huh. coz YOU have hurt waaaaay too many people over the past couple of years, and im sorry but you REALLY, REALLY deserve this. you may even deserve MORE crap, but hey who i am to judge right?
