two week countdown to the big two-two begins today! ;) POSTED AT 11:12 AM yesterday's mall of asia adventure-slash-date was fun, just because we were so happy. i mean, like the type of happy where you cant stop smiling and all. the whole afternoon-evening was spent laughing and making kuwento and yes, eating. and not just eating, PIGGING OUT. haha one of my favorite moments of the day was when we were at pizza hut bistro and this high school-aged couple sat at the table across us. we were debating whether they were on a date or if they were just siblings, but they didnt look alike so we guessed they were dating. and it wasnt even like they were a couple na, it looked semi first date-ish. and so the whole time we were there, we were super stalking them. it was hilarious :D like cholo kept making hirit 'this is how you do it, boy!' and we were secretly taking their picture and even considered going up to them and starting a conversation. basta, it was so much fun. and it was really cute coz we were reminded of how we were back when we just started going out four years ago. wahahaha. how time flies good weekend equals good week ahead? i hope so. fingers crossed |

heath ledger, you scare the shit out of me. POSTED AT 08:01 PM so because pocholo's number one hero is batman, we were at the movie house bright and early today, for the dark knight's first screening of the first day. yeeees naaaaaman shit, christian bale is so HOT. today we established (okay, I established) that Spiderman isnt hot because he's dorky and scrawny, and Superman naman is too much of an alpha male and a meathead to be considered hot. Batman is the ideal guy (hero?) because he has the right mix of bad and good boy in him, he doesnt really have a power which makes him 100% human, he's smart, he's so freaking buff, and yes lets face it, mysterious guys are just... more appealing. oh and him being this millionaire with his own company, private plane, and all those techie things doesnt hurt. haha. so good job pocholo for picking the right superhero to look up to! the character of the joker was too scary. my eyes were covered by cholo's hands during those scenes that were just too freaky.. yes yes, i am a scaredy cat. over-all, it was an entertaining movie that was worth our 'its-a-week-away-and-we-should-buy-tickets-already-just-in-case' effort. go watch! and drool over christian bale too haha :D

22 and 1 day old :) POSTED AT 07:43 PM to everyone who called, texted, and greeted through multiply/friendster/ym -- thank you from the bottom of my hypothalamus :D i feel especially special (whaaat?!) because i got not one but TWO calls from sydney from my kabarkadas -- bianx, mike and christine. im so jealous theyre all together there now for world youth day! im just consoled by the fact that i will simply enjoy through them, and drool over their pictures haha. ALSO, i got a text from kritzia who is still in the States and refuses to come back home. kringy, tama na pagiging missionary. charity begins at home! thank you to my pocholo for our two-day celebration of the double day. four years, baby! thats 4 x 365 days of you putting up with my brat attacks, fattening me up, brushing my hair, refusing to let me carry my bag/s, holding me when i cry, hugging me even when i havent taken a bath yet, making tampo when i do something you dont like, and most importantly - loving me no matter what. i love you so much, you know that babe mr. wise guy called me this morning to wake me up and greeted me with, "happy 4th year and one day baby! advanced happy 5th!" haha. soareyousoexcited?? one year advanced?? materialistically speaking my birthday was extra good because i got 3 out of my very long birthday wishlist. it wouldve been impossible to get everything on my list (hello kaka, shia and the polar bear), but im happy coz i got the ones i really wanted. tums is one happy 22 year old i've decided this early that next year i'll have a party! and not a tiny, dinky mariposa villas clubhouse one. a big one talaga! so yes, im planning this early to make sure it pushes through. belated happy birthday to me! here's to hoping that 22 will be a blast

Love according to 4-8 yr olds POSTED AT 07:49 PM "When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth." Billy - age 4 "Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs." "Love is what makes you smile when you're tired." "Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday." "Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still
friends even after they know each other so well." "Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of
chicken." "Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she
doesn't think
it's gross." |

POSTED AT 07:53 AM thanks to the wonders of downloadable videos and handheld devices (hi bruce!), i've been watching (and re-watching) certain movies and dawson's creek reruns these past few days. waaaaaah can i just say, i loved the whole dawson-joey unrequited love story line. i loved it too much to the point that when they did get together, the whole show just became boring. haha. and that episode where joey goes to visit her dad in prison? i was bawling the entire time. its strange but i dont remember these episodes!! maybe because the last time i watched them i was 12??? damn, thats ten years ago! i also re-watched 'one more chance' (who doesnt love john lloyd and bea??), which is one of my favorite baduy pinoy movies EVER. oh, and i finally got to see 'when love begins'. uh yeah. im so glad i didnt succeed in forcing cholo to watch it when it was showing in the cinemas. wouldve been a total waste, the first half of the movie revolved around anne strutting around in her bikinis (which were nice naman, in fairness) and aga running around with his 'im-already-a-daddy' belly. the second half of the movie revolved around anne modeling really nice albeit impractical 'business' clothes and aga talking in this weird 'im-trying-to-sound-like-im-still-bagets' way. the whole boracay storyline was good though. made me miss the beach |

POSTED AT 05:22 PM my absolutest favoritest scene in 'Sixteen Candles' is after the wedding. its when Molly Ringwald exits the Church, sees that everyone has left, looks down and is pissed because everyone has forgotten about her (AGAIN), and then... finally looks up to see Jake (in all his crushboy glory!!) standing by his little red car, waiting for her. daaaaaamn. now that's a movie moment. i can watch that movie over and over and over and over again. i practically memorize every scene of it already! ohhhhh Jake, youre so fine. why cant the movies of today be more like 80s movies? where unrequited love was always part of the plot and you were considered hot if you drove a small, fast car and had that certain look. come to think of it, 80s movie actors/characters had only two looks. you were either a clean-cut boy next door type of guy, or the bad boy. haha. how generic. |

POSTED AT 09:38 PM my trip to john clements today was funny, just because i was running to make it on time and i still didnt (make it on time). bleh. makati traffic is really the worst. one more reason to NOT consider working anywhere in that area. oh, but yeay for me because i FINALLY got to experience those ayala underground walkways. it wasnt anything great, believe me. it was hot and humid, BUT it did serve its purpose of making the walk from LKG to greenbelt pass by faster. i think those colorful billboards had something to do with it.. currently trying to think of a 'tranny' name for my black soon-to-be pink phone. haha. i miss kenzo na
no rain tomorrow, please? |

last before going to bed :) POSTED AT 12:07 AM i just realized tonight while cholo was hugging and holding me close (like he always does) that after four years of hugging and being held by the same person, i still feel that giddy, kilig feeling that i felt back when his hugs were still new to me. i always thought that feeling would go away when the years passed and we'd get sawa of each other, but it still hasnt. and i dont think it ever will. i guess thats just how it is when you really love someone, and you feel that youre really meant to be together. okay, im ending this just coz its getting too mushy. haha, just wanted to share! goodnight, world

POSTED AT 09:21 AM last night's omakase dinner was fuuuuuun. i missed my barkada tooooo much! i really cant remember a night when we had that much kuwento haha. we were easily the noisest table at the restaurant, plus the most magulo too. what is it with assumption girls and how they make kuwento? i swear, i have yet to meet povedans or icans or miriam girls who can shriek, wave their hands in the air, and have all these facial expressions (all at the same time ha) while telling a story. love my girlies pictures posted on my multiply! whoo hoo, more nights like this please! thanks girls |
